generally the "voters" that appear in campaign adds work as volunteers or offive workers for the candidate they are saying nice things about. Hardly objective -- I wish they'd be honest about this.

Ho hum. She is so full of crap. She does not want to be filmed answering questions about Iraq. She thinks that topic should be taboo. I guess then she also thinks supporting our troops should be taboo as well. What an AWFUL human being.

Thelma Drake had her staff lock out constituents who were trying to deliver letters from veterans in her district. One Army veteran was arrested for trying to exercise his constitutional right to redress grievances with the government. Thelma is a coward who is afraid to face voters who have a different opinion. It is time for Cowardwoman Drake to consider what she wants to do after her career in Congress.

I'm wondering --- Thelma Drake votes with Bush 98% of the time and then says she is an "independent voice." Is she referring to the 2% of the other 2% of the time? Or does she mean that, given the unpopularity of Bush/Drake policies, she is independent of the will of the people? Any guesses?

"An INDEPENDENT" who represents "US?" Thelma represents George Bush, not the American people! She voted against investigating activities between Congress and Jack Abramoff; against an act to reduce dependency on foreign oil; against increasing minimum wages; against penalties for employers who attempt to stop the formation of unions; against providing Federal assistance to prosecute hate crimes; against negotiating lower drug prices for Medicare.
