Actually he was a fine singer. He was also excellent in Evening Primrose by Sondheim.

You said it beautifully, bang on! Tony just nailed this impossible song with a stunning plethora of genuine emotions!

Lucky lucky woman!

Berry died one day short of the 9th anniversary of her husband's death (Sept. 12), which took place on his mother's birthday! (Norman, is that you?)

Watching this made me cry--it is so beautiful that they found this love together! I respect Anthony for his strength to be true to himself and it doesn't matter to me what side of the fence that was on. But I believe his sons and family gave him much joy--and that is a blessing for sure!

@ebonyamberjade imho it's not right to forbid outside sex

@ebonyamberjade - I wish Anthony had lived in a free world that had allowed him to be authentic and do what he truly felt, i.e. he loved guys. Only the false moral constraints of a decadent culture made this charming and beautiful guy lead a fake life and seek happiness elswhere. As millions of men still do. Luckily enough times are changing for the better in some respects - that is one of them. Yes, I'm sad for lovely Anthony. Not only for the way he died, but mostly for the way he had to live
So tragic. They were both so special. Thanks for the tribute!

You're missing the vocal genius here. Not a singer, he nonetheless just nails this impossible song. You can hear grief and anger and resignation and many other things, and because he was such a brilliant actor he puts this across without a "big" or Broadway-ish voice. His friend Joel Schumacher said, "I believe that Tony, in his search for truth and beauty, found Berry. He was looking for love, and he found love, because she IS love. So I think that on Tony's great journey he found his quest."
