when i did this mod and removed the orange cable it made the pitch control not change pitch at all it stayed at the constant 0 pitch. So I re-soldered the TP17 and it still didn't work, it was at constant 0 pitch. I soldered the orange cable back and now it works, but I really want to do this mod to my black mk2. any suggestions?

Good video this guy is smart excellent mod and to one of the comments posted this is not a pointless mod it really helps your mix if you are in the area of the light by the pitch control thanks for the mod from Los Angeles California .
