Watch the new Polar CS500 cycling computer in action - the first in the market to offer buttonless functionality, and a sleek, extra large display screen.
@ChrisPolarUSA I too *REALLY* want to get another polar to replace my 720i, but after multiple conversations with Polar.. there still isn't any true Mac compatibility. It is all kind of work arounds from everything I have read.. or limitations. There is no local software for Polar devices on a Mac and having to upload to a website isn't my preferred method. I also have read multiple places the sync driver for mac is severely lacking and too buggy.
@bossthefluff The CS500, along with 90% of all current Polar products are Mac compatible. I would suggest checking out the facts on our website - polarusa.com ~ Chris
It just blows me away that Polar continue not making their products available for Mac users. The executive team must be a bunch of tree hugging idiots somewhere in deepest darkest Finland. If you look at the market penetration of Apple in the last few years, my only conclusion is that they strive to reduce their sales. I want a Polar, but I'm getting a Garmin until they sort their shit out.
@kingerz I know, it was a rhetorical statement responding to erikj35's comment about GPS
