"you guys... it's very simple. we sign petitions and once we get enough signatures then Americans vote. then it goes to the house for recommendations, then the senate votes. then it becomes law. unless the president vetos it which will make the whole country hate him so he never will. its that simple. basically how the house of representatives works. except absolutely no interference from the special interest groups or lobbyists. Instead, it will be citizens voting their conscience." ~ oldhacks

Exactly!

I think that it could be the best answer to anything.
Ask a question and then he answers: "if you vote for me it will be your choice."
No Candidate can support your every political wish except the candidate that will empower YOU.

2 videos in and your showing how much of a moron you are.
The representatives will still be there. We just have more power to bully our government to do what we've been asking for decades.

Empowering citizens to make laws on a national level might help address some problems — especially "social concerns" — but it's not what will solve economical or global issues. I like Mike, but I'm sick of his replying to EVERY question with, "I don't know; I'm going to turn around and empower you to make laws." The NI4D is something he should strive for, but it's not something he should use as a crutch to address about every question that comes his way.

Is it just me, or is his answer to every one of the ten questions, "NI4D"?
Empowering yourself does answer a lot, doesn't it?
WHY do you think we don't have that power now?
Why do you think things are always such a mess?
Mainstream Rep & Dem are just different teams of theives.

This video is about the size of gov't and he points out that the government is not going to volutarily reduce itself.
There has to be a mechanism for We the People to do so.
Don't you think the citizens would have voted against easing lending restrictions that created the current mess?
Don't you think the citizens would vote to agressively break up corporate monopolies that dominate the global economy?
