I was raised in the LDS church and am so touched by the continuing love that is shown by our church family.

Some of my favorite scriptures are about service.

James 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Mosiah 2:17 ...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

Matt. 25:...Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren...

The church gives millions each year for help. Not counting volunteer time. What do you do other than criticise.

Instead of heading to the beach on a sunny morning, more than 2,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Florida -- along with community volunteers -- worked more than 10,000 hours on Saturday, April 25, in a Day of Service.

Believe or not, even if this is not a religion but only an community, they are great, they have done great contribution to the world.
