Cassowary are amazing, in-every-way birds. If one ever looks directly at you, you will KNOW you've been LOOKED at!
The male Cassowary is responsible for taking care of the nest & young and should NEVER be approached, most especially when their young are around, as there is a likelihood they will attack you. They can rake you with their powerful clawed feet! Please drive carefully!
