She showed up at my fathers bar ( the Barbarossa ) one night to hear his version of Cod'ine. The bar was jam packed, and he was working the door. He never met her before and didn't know what she looked like, so he sent her away. She never saw him perform.

I saw her in 1969. Think it was at Bard College, north of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She had a whole rock band with her and they did everything from Rock to Blues to Folk to Country to Blue Grass to a few places far away. Will be a fan forever. Native American yes. Great Soul absolutely!

great song i thinjk buffy is best and jolin reallymad eit her own and imnnto a major jop[lin musical fan as a person id have loved her, but she was so ahrewqd of her time and had no leadership infrastructurem, but her version lyrics i mix up with nbuffys sometimes and 'whislkey and frolic' i put 'fuckim;' ccos frankly i say fuckin well and it fits better, how do i you tube an iphoine video/
