  • i love it, My Gran is Lynne Gordon, she is so cute! Love you Gran.

  • Did they ever take the TTC? I dunno. Ben Wicks & Hagood Hardy have since passed on, so for sure they don't anymore. I remember reading about Ben Wicks getting out of his car to help someone who was in a car accident out on the highway somewhere. This was during this period of him appearing in these commercials.

  • C'mon!

Do these people in this video EVER take the TTC ??

    Ha !

  • right pplk23, because of Mr. Harris back in the '90's that end transit improvement like new subways etc,

  • @digitalman28 Lets say our thankyous to Mr. Harris

  • @phillydisco You're right Philly-disco. The TTC is stuck in the past afraid to move it forward like the rest of the world. Perhaps I should move to Vancouver in BC or London in England because their transit systems are in the 21st century with automated systems. I feel sorry for us Torontonians because of the idiot provincial government and city councilors who fight over this. Who agrees with me on this one?

  • I would have to admit that the TTC was better in the 80s than what it is today. In the 1980s, the system was expanding, and we didn't have political egos running the system than what we are seeing today. Even Torontonians in the 80s were much nicer than the self-interest fanatics we see today

  • I only take the TTC to pick up chicks. Otherwise I rather drive.

  • @bored1ca I agree. The problem with the TTC is that they are stuck in the 1970s. Even the fare boxes are old. I went to Vancouver and was surprised to see that the buses there have automatic fare boxes on the buses that spit out magnetic stripped tickets when you put in the fare. And so many cities around the world have spiderwebs of subways above and below ground, while we only have two lines?!!

  • ...well it USED to be the Better Way - now we need an even Better Way...
