How many levels of irony are too many? Can we even know what's real anymore? The meta-irony at the Sanity Rally gets, well, just plain confusing, leaving rally-goers apparently unable to recognize irony.

Jon Stewart himself made fun of demographic obsession when he said"If there are too many whites,obviously,the rally is racist"; in effect ,taking a shot at those who were CRITICIZING the Teabagger rallies(Olbermann ,for one);and Stewart was right;nobody ever criticized Peace Rallies for having too many white,upper midldle class protesters; so DailyCallerVideo,,don't be as obnoxious as MSNBC....

This is an excellent video! Maybe they should have had video of the Madrid bombings as a backdrop to islams "peace train". Also, Ozzie biting the head off a dove, or snorting some ants, now that would have been entertaining.

The problem with this video is the idea that the rally was set up as an anti-Beck rally or a pro-Democrat rally. When I was there I saw a few signs saying 'Keep your government out of my X'. As far as Cat Stevens, has anybody asked him lately if he regretted being a peace activist who called for the death of Salman Rushdie? Cause that clip was 22 years ago.

Each and every rally (INCLUDING THIS ONE) plays host to a continuum of people, including all of these: the unintelligent, the uninformed; the misinformed; the curious; the original core of the movement; extremists branched from the core; new movements (mutated; casual; extreme); even groups pushing completely unrelated agendas! Ppl at rallies aren't adhering to a central command; while this lets everyone be heard, it also makes for confusion and misrepresentation. ANY rally. Guaranteed.
