Lauren Conrad inspired Updo

This is definitely one of my most requested looks as far as hair tutorials go.

* Keep in mind that everyone's hair is different; texture, length, thickness, etc! So, this will be most beneficial if you take some of the tips/techniques that I used and accomodate them to suit your hair!

Again I apologize for the lengthy video, but I felt it was necessary to show all the steps!

question:

sometimes after washing my hair, i blow dry it and curl it to waves with my flat iron.

i put on hair spray but still - after like one hour - it becomes so flat!!!

what can i do to make it stay the way it is?

BTW my hair is not super straight

@yaarama Thank you! To be honest I can't give you an accurate solution without seeing and feeling your hair... are you putting any product in it before you blowdry it? You need to be using some kind of mousse or sculpting gel or something to help hold the curl.. it could also depend on your hair texture... if you hair is really fine it will not hold curl very well...regardless of what you do to try and make it stay

I just tried this and it turned out pretty well considering I'm not usually very good or patient when it comes to my hair. Your instructions were really easy to follow. I'm glad I did a practice run (I plan to do it for a wedding) because my proportions were a little off and I think I'll do a side part instead of a center part, but not too bad! Thanks so much!
