lol
Give it a few decades and it'll be "always the americans".

For example the Kenyan massacre about 70 years ago, commited by the British Empire was not known by Westminster, the British public or anyone except the government out in Kenya. Where as events such as Vietnam, Batista in Cuba and assasination of the Democratically elected Salvador Allende of Chile would of undoubtedly been discussed with the current Presidents of the time and possibly through the appropriate government bodies.

@MsDDiddy As I have already clearly stated, i said that the British Empire was not unaccountable for some acts, and i also said "the USA is just as bad", I didn't say worse. The point of my arguement was that these events in the British Empire was generally due to regional governments so you cannot hold that countries government to account, as for the US more recent acts they would of had to been discussed by the govnerment such as Vietnam.

@Burnageable i'm sure charity funded these murderous militias but the initial cause was imperialism. i love that your sole arguments is that the USA is much worse. did anyone argue that it wasn't? but we're not talking about american imperialism, are we? we're talking about the fucking british wankers who thought they could go around taking over the world without any consequences. give me a fucking break!

It wasnt the British government. The Rwandan point is a perfect arguement for arguing against charity, and is used frequently, not that i am against Charity. Its not an example of imperialism in practice as the British did not know that they were going to cause genocide with the money they gave from charity and relief. I mean im not saying the British are perfect in the circumstances of Sudan and perhaps India, but the USA is just as bad. I mean you could argue over who is worse for ever...

and he was democratically elected, they then replaced with dictator Augusto pinochet and murdered 200,000 in the process. This issue was most probably pushed through by the US government as oppose to a regional government. As for the British causing the Rwandan genocide, the British government gave money to the Rwandan government to help fight the increasing aids and various other diseases and Rwanda asked for the money to help them fight it. They then used the money to cause mass genocide.
-
@MsDDiddy Yeah but you cant just simply blame the British government when they had their own regional governments in a sense, not every individual single issue went to Westminster.... Every empire generally ends up doing bad things, thats why people dont like the idea that the USA has been supporting dictators both previously and now such as Batista in Cuba, when people bitch about Castro they dont know the full story. USA also for example executed President Salvador Allende of Chile

God he's a retard!

@uafchris you should probably go educate yourself, it'll prevent you from looking like a dipshit. the southern sudanese were previously part of the DRC but the British combined north DRC with south Sudan so there became two distinct ethnic groups which as soon as the British left sudan, started killing each other. just like Belgian imperialism caused Rwanda. get it now?
Thats right Bill. It's NEVER American

some people have never heard of the Dutch,Spanish, Portugese, French, American,Chinese,Japanese,German,Russian Empire/ Empire attempts.Sometimes it was but that is just a simplistic statement happily agreed by wankers.
