Personally , i love the ending to thisgame more than the ending to the sequel. This ending, with the music, makes me tear up a little. Its Beautful music(oh god i suck)

The whole soundtrack is simply gorgeous, lots of atmosphere about it.

i've seen people say that this game's ending was too happy. honestly, i think it is perfectly fine. there is no gaurantee that the rest of alice's life will be perfectly wonderful, but it shows that she survived the ordeal and overcame her problems, and that's the big goal of the game. and the music is perfect too. it's happy and pleasant, but there's an unpleasant area that feels kind of dark and then it ends on a good note. Chris Vrenna is a genius.

You got it just right. I was waiting for someone to come up to the same answer as I have figured. I mean the ending is pretty much just as it was meant to be.
