The real question is what do Americans know about Islam in general? What are the beliefs of Muslims? Most Muslims could tell you what Christians and Jews believe in because it is a fundamental aspect of their learning to educate themselves on other world religions. However, too many Americans live in ignorance about Islam. Before understanding the difference between Shiite and Sunni, know what it means to be a Muslim first from unbiased sources.

Dear brother, you logic is flawed. I feel that you are now disagreeing with my in a destructive way rather than constructive. Your arguments dont make sense. Your telling me i dont know what my own scholars say, when you probably havent even learned about them. Minority groups can also be wrong, i was just saying you cant base your justification on quanitity, only quality.

your so naive sis, dont you know that shiite scholars said if any muslim dont believe and rejects the imamate of Ali is considered kafir..so dont tell me you love us ..imamate is the sixth pillar of shiite islam .. you said jusgt becoz sunnis are the majority doesnt them right..then should we accept sufi belief just becoz its minority or maybe durze..or even Bahai how about that

Salam bro, It is us shia who accept our sunni brothers and we love the entire ummah. u wouldnt be surprisd at me finding the shia way if you studied what i have studied. I didnt convert 4 the people around me. I was only taught the sunni way at 1st. By delving into my studies & looking at both sides i realized that the Shia path is cleary the right way. Although sunni is the majority doesnt mean its the right way. Islam maintains quality not quantity, think about the times of the Prophet(sa).

the false side of islam is the shiite islam, we sunnis who represent more %90 of muslims world see shiites as heretic kafirs ..I'm sure you have seen what they do on ashurra ..I'm suprised you ve chose shiaism over sunni islam..but hey birds of feather flock together..

I find this gap very problematic. As a convert to shia islam, the REAL way of the Prophet in regards to his peace and tolerance. i find that when pple judge me they are only seeing salafi islam and the violent, degrading, untolerant, and biased hadith of the sunnis like sahih bukari and muslim. Its sad too cuz, i cant blame non muslim judgement becuz they are only seeing that false side of Islam due to that information gap.
