Originally from Buffalo, NY, Alanna currently plays/works in Los Angeles, CA as a yoga instructor, leads retreats nationally and internationally, including her all women Goddess fasting retreats and her Surf/Yoga retreats in Costa Rica. She has also created her unique Yoga Dance company. These performances have been requested at major fashion shows, private parties, yoga conferences and film festivals. She glows and exudes a passion for living that all feel in her presence. She has recently been featured in the September issue of Yogi Times magazine for her volunteer work with terminally ill children at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital and for the recent publication of her first children's yoga book titled "A Chair in the Air".

Alanna is a teacher with a passion for kids. "Why constantly cut the branches, when you can change the seeds?" she says. She has written and illustrated 4 children's books, all with a moral and an inspiration for life that all ages can benefit from. She is currently finishing her first novel titled "Life's First Handbook". She is an ACE and AFAA certified fitness instructor of 14 years and holds a BA in Child Psychology with a minor in Theatre/Dance from the University at Buffalo. Alanna has a great joy and love for life and a strength that defies the vanities of this world.
