Why Link Text Matters, Big Time!

Link Text is the text you click on (usually in a different color) to go where that link wants to send you.

What the link text says is important! When a search engine indexes a link on another page to you, the only thing the search engines have to determine the keywords for that link is what the text for the link itself says! So you've thrown a link away if the link text says 'click here' - you link should mention something about your products and your company.
