Just a video about making some Hemlock Tea.

Use 1 Tablespoon of Hemlock needles, per-one cup of water, allow to steep for about 10 minutes or so, remove the needles and drink.

What you don't want to do is just toss the needles into boiling water and leave them there boiling... This will make your tea taste bad... At least I think so.

Hemlock Tea is a good source of Vitamin C and its a good way for a cheapskate like myself to have some fresh, free tea with out going to the store and paying $10 for 1/4lb of tea....

  • @oblivionexpert2 Not the tree.

  • That sure is different. Don't know if I would like it or not, but if I had to drink it for nutrition I guess I would. Thanks for sharing.

  • @handclamp You could always try it and see if you like it. After all the cost of making some is the right price! Free!

    Thanks for watching.

  • what are the medicinal properties of Hemlock?

  • Great video! Last winter I tried some spruce tea for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised at the taste. I always thought that the tea from resinous trees would be objectional, but with the proper preparation, it tastes great! thanks for sharing.

  • @widerstand Thanks man! I have a small field guide that says Hemlock is good for bandages.
