One of the excuses used by the apoligists for the oil industry to justify rising heating oil and gas prices is that the U.S. has not built any new refineries since the 1970s. The heads of the major U.S. oil companies testified recently before congress. They were all asked, under oath, whether the U.S. needed to build more oil refineries. They all said 'no'. How can the oil company apoligists explain this fact?

Russian Premier Vladimir Putin says research shows that Russia has enough oil and gas for itself and for Europe for the next 100 years.

We are ALL inmensely valuable as Human Beings. The fact is we could have planned 30 years ago to be in good shape right now, but we did'nt.
Brazil did plan and win!
We still have a thin but real alternative: Wind, Solar, Biofuels from Agae, Hydrogen Cars like the Honda FCX, Plug-In Hybrids like the next generation of Prius.
I takes an america aware of the facts and down to earth political leadership at the top.

You can try telling us, but we still have our heads in the sand.
The prices tell the story, record price after record price.
The sad thing is we could go a long way towards making the problem manageable if we would just acknowledge it. The US has alot of smart people, if we organize.

49 Oil & Gas units have been destroyed completely in the sea storm at Gulf of Mexico causing a daily loss of 13000 barrels of oil & 84 million cusecs of natural gas. But regarding the supply & demand in USA this number doesnt even co-op with 0.1% of the daily consumption they say that the residential consumers will not be affected. But being a very critical issue as concerns the economy sooner or later it will certainly have an impact on devaluation of US $ leading to a collapse in economy.
