estimated power aproxx. 600-650W (130V-5,5A), filtered with only 1000uF capacitance, IRFP460 sw. device i mounted on an old CPU heatsink with fan.

Circuit consists from 4046 as square-wawe oscillator, BC547/557 PP stage, BD139/140 PP stage, GDT no.1, IRF530 class E preamp, GDT no.2, final power stage IRFP460. GDTs are wound on unkown ferrite toroidal core from mains noise filters.

@6B32 Ha! I know what you mean about dead mosfets... in general. I killed 10 IRFP250's from spikes in my 555 timer flyback driver.

By the way, I didnt know the mosfet you are using can even switch that fast! 4Mhz is FAST!

@juniortore1 actually it will work at 8MHz without problem(tested)... even 16MHz is possible with this MOSFET...but there are better ones.
