  • wow, very impressive. what kind of banjo is that? and that thing shaking around in the background

    what is that?

  • thanks for asking dear eric, that is an enoch tradesman banjo, and in the background my brother rolo is shaking our self-made freedom boot, constructed in a fit of creative passion in late 2005/early 2006.

  • Great musicianship and arrangement. Does the lagerphone use bottle caps or some heavier-duty metal discs like washers?

  • Our lagerphone uses bottle caps. There is more info about our instrument here: groanboxboys.c o m/boot.html Our friend David Bruce built one for his piece which used caps and discs here: davidbruce.n e t/passions/224.asp

  • Completely delightful. I discoved your group thru kickingmule, and the first tune I heard was Hobo Heaven. It made me cry, and I favorited it!

  • David's "largerphone" is insane! Here's the (considerably smaller) instrument we use: riverbottombushwhackers. c o m / photos. html

  • Streams of tears are falling down my cheeks, tears of joy !!! Keep on playing !
