if we are really in Afghanistan to get rid of the terrorists. then lets get rid of them. Period!

We need to eliminate every cave, every tunnel and every hideout. We don't do that with soldiers. We do that with bombs and missiles! Lots of bombs and missiles!!

If we are there to promote "democracy" we are wasting our time! and our money!!

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you for once.

The war in Afghanistan is tricky, because us leaving could result in the Taliban taking back the country and undoing years of American work to spread justice and democracy to where it's needed. China isn't deploying soldiers because their not in a war. And Russia is actually deploying soldiers because of the countless numbers of conflicts they have with their former satellite countries, such as Georgia. That is all.
