An open message from Anonymous to the Church of Scientology

Hello Scientology. Allow me, if I may, to be serious.

In years past, we have stood by as you have destroyed the lives of the people you profess to help. We have stood by, and watched you brainwash the masses. We have stood by, and we have done nothing. The time has come for all of that to change.

True, Anonymous has traditionally laughed in the face of tragedy, and on this end you have delivered in spades. We have laughed at those you have killed, and we have laughed at those you have robbed. But it is no longer a laughing matter, and if the expressionless face of Anonymous could show anything, it would be disgust. You, Scientology, have taken it to far.

True, Anonymous has often conducted attacks for no other reason than the lulz, and to this end we have succeeded for the most part. We have laughed at the radio hosts, the web administrators, the families, and the others who have gained our attention in the past. But for the first time, in the history of Anonymous, the lulz are not our goal. You are out of control, Scientology, and you must be dealt with. Our ultimate goal is the evaporation of your organization and we will not stop until it is achieved. Then, and only then, will lulz be had.

True, Anonymous has in the past been a fragmented group that has often been reduced to squabbling within it's own ranks due to long standing rivalries. But never have we been so united in a singular cause as we are now. The true nature of this renewed brotherhood is something you will come to know very well, and you will come to recognize as a threat. We are not simply a group of kids on the internet as you would like to believe, but we are an organized and very serious body of people who range in the power we have, the talents we were gifted with, and the weapons we wield.

Unlike your own failed attempt, Operation Snow White, in the 1970's, we have succeeded in infiltrating every level of government, from local to federal. But the government is not our only target of infiltration, for you see, Scientology, we have even infiltrated your own ranks. We are so dedicated to this cause that we are willing to risk our own assets in order to bring you down.

You don't know who we are, yet you see us everyday. You have given us audits and read to us the words of Hubbard himself. You have shaken our hands, you have had dinner with us, you have conversed with us, and you have befriended us. You will not know who we are. You will not even know who we are when the final blow is struck upon your head.

We are represented on every continent. We are represented in every country. We are represented in every single city across this planet.

You will attempt to ignore us, as if we are meaningless, but you will fail.

You will attempt to litigate us, but you will fail.

You will attempt to seek us out, but you will fail.

You will attempt to accuse us of spurious actions, but you will fail.

We will rise up, Scientology, and in our wake the public will follow us. For you see, even though our numbers are vast, we will set a precedent for those to follow, and even those who do not identify themselves as Anonymous will take up arms against you. You are a parasite on the back of society, and we are the ones who will cleanse it of you.

Ready your soldiers for war. We will meet in the fields, we will meet in the homes, we will meet in the media, and we will meet on your own premises.

We will meet, and we will do battle.
