@Onogurpride Large scale turkification of modern Uzbekistan began with Karakhanids. Turks that came with them are the basis of modern Uzbeks of Tashkent and Ferghana valley. Thus, literary Uzbek language (based on Fergana dialect) is in essense - Karluk and very close to Uighur.

@Onogurpride Now which Uzbeks are you talking about? If you are talking about Uzbeks of Ferghana and Tashkent they are a mixture of Karluk Turks and Soghdians. They are extremely close to Uighurs, ethnically, culturally, lingustically. If you are talking about Uzbeks of Khorezm they are a mixture of ancient Iranic Khorezmians, Oguz Turks, and some Qipchaq mixture. If you are talking about rular Uzbeks from Samarqand area or from Surhandarya they are more Qipchaq.

plz don't masturbate urself. it is just uigur not uzbek. it was chagatai who made us to speak a language that almost same,but ethnically we are different. Uigurs are direct decendant of Huns,named by great oguz khan/Mete khan after our ancester helped him to throne of GREAT Huns.other hand,uzbeks are kirgyz/kipchak+sogdian/iranic pple. anyone who distrust this fact have to read Divani Lugaty Turk. Uigurs spoke a oguz/karluk language close to turkmen/turk/azeri.
