@bagelj - It's been hunting season on teachers & the unions since Christie took office. Everyone's walking around with a cross & some nails, lying in wait for a teacher to sneeze in the wrong direction. CLEARLY you are neither an educator nor a policy maker or have done a single shred of research on the things you THINK you know about (not counting the Starr Magazine). People are allowed to relax, to say stupid things, to complain about their jobs & ALL do. Why is it an indictment on EVERYONE?.

@talianteachr I think this is a clear distinction between fear and paranoia.. You trivialize the essence of the real problem but you dont want to recognize it because I think you are one of many just want to milk the system. DONT tell me I do not know what I am talking about. My life has been surrounded by teachers, friends and family members. Some even quit because the dont want to put up with bureaucratic bullshit.

@talianteachr I am PRO-Good teacher.. but unfortunately the good teachers are sucked down with the bad teachers or teachers who dont care about providing results. You all are going to get what you deserve, and if you dont like it - Quit.. The Governor is right, you dont have to do what your doing if you are sooooo unhappy with it. But you all rather suck it up so you dont have to loose your welfare checks, (I mean pensions) Save me some tax money for crying out loud.

Also, judging by the quality of responses one finds in this thread, it would be safe to say that some of you would fail your comprehension test if you were asked to explain what a few of the teachers were upset about. One needs to have emotion intelligence in order to be able to assess and interpret emotional cues.

And these arrogant childish creeps are teaching our children???!!! Their primary concern is obviously NOT about doing a good job to serve our children-- but only to serve themselves!! Most teachers are dedicated intelligent good people. However,all tenure for teachers should be abolished and this video definitely shows why! Most people are not guaranteed a job and must work hard, do a good job and be honest and decent to keep their jobs---why shouldn't they?

I have no respect for teachers. I supposedly went to some of the best schools in the state and these "educators" taught me shit. They are all liberal scumbags who have an over inflated sense image. Thankfully I have a very good job and managed to succeed, even though school was a compete waste of time.
