David Summerford plays the beautiful melody composed by Stuart Townend. Mountain dulcimer and bowed dulcimer are played as birds are singing at sundown in the cornfield.

  • I really enjoyed this one. The bowed playing was beautiful. I've been hoping to get a bowed dulcimer for a long, long time now... this makes me want one even more!

  • thank you so much for such nice comments...I fell in love with the sound the first time I heard one play and understand well your desire to get one

  • This song reminds me of when I was in rural England several years ago. There was this large open field we walked through just as the sun was setting. It was the most beautiful thing in nature I have ever seen.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • and thank you for caring enough to drop in for a look...enjoyed the BD party immensely

  • Sweet! And what great production values - what is that, blue screen? With reverb on the opening? Quite good!

  • Thanks Bing...coming from you the compliment is exponentially heightened.
