Be foolishly in love, because love is all there is.
All the rest is the impurity of the mind.

@LuKe10559 Man, if you don't want to get so many insults from my faithfull "orthodox christians" compatriots don't say anything else, don't have an oppinion. ;)

@Iloveromania4ever The hate between orthodoxs and catholics has nothing to do with the age of the church but with politics. Let's be serious and not romantic. And speaking about the kills, orthodox killed many peoples as well. I'm sick and tired of this shit: "we are saints, you're the devils".

"The statement is not subjective either it is based on thorough investigation of the facts."
Ok then, please provide arguments for your position. Why do you say that the Orthodox Church has apostolic succession but they are not the church of the apostles ?

As for the Catholic acceptance of differences in rites, this is due to the Pope willing to make concessions to people who were already used to worship the Orthodox way. As long as they submitted to the Pope, he didn't care about differences. As always, the Papacy is more about political intrigue and hegemony than disinterested worship. And all those saints you mentioned did NOT accept the infallibility of the Pope but only his position as first among EQUALS.

@levi199120 Corruption is a given in any Church, simply because it's made of sinful people. My question still stands: why do you bring up the evil done by some Orthodox clerics and willingly diminish the terrible atrocities done by the Catholic clergy ? I'm not saying some of our patriarchs did not sin, they may very well could have as power often makes people crazy, but your playing the "moralist wolf" makes me sick to my stomach. The inquisition better that today's courts ? Are you kidding me?

@levi199120 Man, listen, all of the today's ''greek catholics'' were FORCED by the church of Rome to change their faith. And why?? Well the Orthodox church has always been hated by the Vatican. And why? Because The Orthodox faith is the OLDEST AND THE ORIGINAL CHRISTIAN FAITH! The catholic church is heretic. they killed thousands of orthodox people in the past. Even in Ukraine more than 80 % are orthodox, no matter if they are russians or ethnic ukrianians

@maxavail And whilst many people like to throw around the 'borgia' or 'the inquistion' why don't people talk about the russian state exterminating the georgian orthodox church? Or constantinople forcing bulgaria to adopt its rite and language? Or the ecumenical patriarchs asking the sultan to exterminate those orthodox church's that wanted independence? Or orthodox bishops hiring assassins to kill their rivals? And this for centuries not a few decades like the borgia...
@LuKe10559
Do you know that your study of your "theology" is false?
The Orthodox church is the church of the apostles
Protestants/Catholics twist Christianity to their liking, everything is made rational. God CANNOT be put to rationalistic views so neither can Christianity. We follow what the apostles have given us nearly 2000yrs ago while you, young and faithless religions and cults are modernizing Christianity only to comfort man and not to Him!

@FranzLisztFerentz I'm glad you like our Church music. We have a Greek Catholic Church in Romania as well, but it's made of former Orthodox who accepted the Pope as their leader a few hundreds of years ago just to gain some political and social rights in territories occupied by Catholic invaders such as the Hungarians and Saxons in Transylvania. But I think it's time they remembered where they came from.
