Mr. Roy Hutchison from London England, 1/2 spin throwing by instinct at unknown distances. This is real knife throwing and not the set distance stuff with "x" number of rotations. Join Roy and the gang on http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/TheBladeThrower/

  • Somebody is saying on the clip, thats its Roy's famous no-spin throw, but Roy is actually throwing 1/2 spin.

  • The abality to throw @ unknown distances is real blade throwing as far as i am concerned. Folkes like Roy, Ralph Thorn, Houzan Suzuki, & the late Skeeter Vaughan to name but a few.

  • I just threw here last week a blast!!!!!!!

  • @Xolette hahahaha

  • I wish there are more vids from Roy! Please, please shoot some more!

  • Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun! All the best to ye!

  • Beautiful throws! Once I pass 10', my no-spin sticks are not consistent. This is very impressive. I'd never throw with a guy in front of me though... although, that's because I'm not confident with my accuracy like Roy.

  • This half spin is what I think a best knife throwing technique, I try no spin for a long times and i found that no spin technique need a special blade, heavy on a grip, and it only work on certain blade shape. You can adjust the range of half spin with simply change the grip position on blade.

  • i read roy's article on the throwzini site...i am also a fan of the half spin technique...i have been throwing 1/2 since i was a kid...i've been messing with the nospin and have the same issues with that technique as roy has...my arm and shoulder really start to act up after awhile...i can toss all day with rotation throwing...no spin is good for close combat 10 to 15 feet for me...but i agree that half spin is the way to go...thanks for the tip about his articles on the T-zini site, BG-51.

  • very skillful...i'm impressed.

  • ROY is a great guy and has a great sense of humor.Nobody can touch his style of throwing. He is a true master.
