The new setup is done, still in tuning phase. Idling, reving and hitting off the 5800 rpm 2-step building 3-4 psi of boost.

  • is this the sr20det or ve?

  • @austin58ful DE head on VE block, couple changes in the works as well include built ve head, custom intake manifold, bigger injectors, bigger better turbo, bigger fuel pump and so on.

  • Damn, had to cut the core support just to fit the turbo?

  • @CheapHatchback Yeah that was from a previous setup using a rwd tubular manifold. Angles the turbo to the front. This would have cleared for the most part maybe notch just a bit on the bottom of it but i have a cooling plate that is bolted inbetween to take the place of the support and support the top of the radiator and cover everything up nicely. I have other pics of it. But yes its a fairly larger turbo.

  • Wow sound great, where is your maf? is a blowthru setup? keep us informed of how it goes.

  • @rpsucilla Im running an AEM EMS, no maf anymore. Im using an AEM 5 bar map sensor now. I used to run a Z32 maf blowthrough setup with my old setup. It worked well as well.

  • you should put in a front strut bar to restore some of the chassis rigidity loss from cutting off the front support. But other than that, nice setup.
