Discount mower repair in Carrollton, Tx says to make sure to change oil every 50 hours max, 10w30 on Hondas, adjust cams every 100 hours. Great motor, great mower. Make sure to use STABIL in the gas

personally, i'm not a big honda fan. but the 190cc engines are great, you can't kill them lol. I have a briggs 6.5hp engine i'm trying to put on a moped, just need to figure out how to go about doing it :\ lol

If all you had to do is put gas in it and never change the filter or the oil then it just means you don't use it that much. I do about 20 lawms a week and I had one of these. It lasted me just one season and I thought I'd get at least two or three seasons out of it. Better off getting a commercial mower.

@spercoco Yes, all I had to ever do was put gas in it to make it start. Ever. I do all maintanace on all my machines, obviousely. I Mowed With this commercially for 2 years (just over 20 clients too) and then sold it for 50 bucks after that. It still ran like the day I bought it. I don't know what you did to yours, but....

@1skiinIan which model Honda is this? Is it a commercial mower or no? How much did you pay? I have 2 customers that both have Honda Harmony 216. I've been mowing both their lawns for 3 years and I know neither of them has used their mower in since I've been doing it for them using my own equipment. I was thinking of offering them each $100 since they are just sitting there. Since you service your own equipment (I don't) do you think that is a good idea or bad?

@spercoco I think it was the GSX. Wasn't a commercial mower, but it was very close to one. The bigger rear wheels are nice for rough terrain. Well, if you can get the lawnmowers cheap, why not!
