Part 1 of 4 in the series "Privacy in Cyberspace: Who Owns Your Email?".

As attorneys and professors of law at Bentley, Stephen Lichtenstein and Gerald Ferrera realized early on that the emerging e-commerce environment raised a whole new set of legal issues for which there was little settled case law. They set out to help their students understand and manage within this new legal landscape by co-authoring with several other colleagues the definitive textbook on CyberLaw, now in its second edition. They also co-founded the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center (BGCC), a virtual global forum of teachers, scholars and students for the researching and sharing of cyberlaw topics.

In the video below, Professors Lichtenstein and Ferrera discuss the mission of the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center and talk about their own research around specific cyberlaw topics.

Stephen D. Lichtenstein, Professor of Law, chairs the Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department at Bentley and is Co-Director of the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center. Gerald R. Ferrera, Gregory H. Adamian Professor of Law, is the Founder and Executive Director of the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center. They work together on a wide range of emerging legal issues related to cyberspace.
