3 Brothers, 3 Friends, 1 Love: Chapter 9 Part 1

Riley's POV

I woke up this morning to find Kevin asleep on the couch. I ate my morning pop tart just staring at him. He looked so serene. AN: She's the man! lol.
I think him and Hayley enjoyed themselves a little too much last night if you know what I mean. I went upstairs to get dressed but half way through my shower I heard a commotion from downstairs.


Kevin's POV

One minute I was sleeping peacefully dreaming about Hayley and the next minute I was rudely woken by a screaming woman.

"AHHHH!"

I shot up out of my seat so fast that I fell of the couch. The quilt came with me but when I stood up I was only in my boxers.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" she asked me.
"Urm.....Hi, I'm Kevin and I stayed the night." I told her.

We stood there awkwardly when Hayley and Riley came rushing downstairs - probabley hearing the commotion. They burst into the living room and glanced from me and back to their mother. I felt my face blushing and quickly grabbed a pillow to cover myself.

"Hayley, wanna explain. Please!" I begged her.

She sighed.

"Mom this is Kevin. The guy I was telling you about." she explained.
"And can I ask why he stayed the night?"
"I was scared and somebody broke into the house so he decided to stay and protect me...I mean us."

Her mom sighed and looked back at me.

"Well, I guess he's in my good books." she smiled at me. "What would you like for breakfast Kevin?"
"Well if your offering, I'd love some Pancakes with some nice strong Coffee." I told her.

She walked into the kitchen and began preparing the food.

"Woah! That was close." I told Hayley.

She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. She smiled and then kissed my softly on the lips waiting for me to kiss back. Of course I didn't because her mom was in the next room.

"Hayley, your mom is right next door. I'm not doing that here." I told her.

She smiled. Probably thinking what a gentleman.

"Nice boxers." she smirked before turning round to leave the room.

My face blushed and I quickly put my clothes back on.

Hayley's POV

After getting changed and washed I went downstairs and joined Kevin who was in the kitchen helping my mom set the table. They seemed to be getting along well.

"Hayley, you didn't tell me Kevin was such a gentleman!" she said to me while laughing at something Kevin had said earlier.
"Well, he can be rather sweet." I told her and went and kissed Kevin on the cheak.

I sat down at the table awaiting my pancakes when Riley came down the stairs. She sat next to me then stared at me. Then she looked at Kevin and at mom, then back to me. It was wierd how well they were getting on but, I guess that's Kevin. Parents just love him. They served the pancakes and we all sat down ready to eat together.

"So Kevin, how did you and Hayley meet?" my mom asked.
"Well, she came to one of my concerts, actually two of them but I think you had a little something to do with that. I'd been wanting to call her but didn't have the guts. Then when I saw her I knew it was fate." he explained.

He made it seem so romantic how we met. Mom seemed to be loving him which was great for me.

"So you're one of the Jonas Brothers? I thought I recognised you, have you seen Hayley's walls?"

I stared at my mom pleading for her to shut up with my eyes.

"I'm sure he got a good look at her wall last night." Riley whispered.

I kicked her under the table before mom heard any more.

"Oh, I'll have to check that out sometime." he covered for us both.

We finished our pancakes having general conversation and thankfully mine and Kevin's cover didn't get blown. I helped him wash up so we could have some alone time before he had to leave. I walked him to the door and gave him a long kiss. Then he left.

I turned around to be confronted by Riley.

"What exactly happened last night?"
