Dil jo na keh saka - 1965 film Bheegi Raat (wet night). Singer: Mohammed Rafi. Lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Music by Roshan. Stars: Meena Kumari, Ashok Kumar, Pradeep Kumar. Under-rated, under-paid Mohammed Rafi was honoured with the "best singer of the millennium" by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine in Mumbai on 07 January 2001, over twenty years after Rafi passed away in July 1980. The legendary singer Mohammed Rafi (1924-1980) still continues to entertain millions around the world. Rajshri video claim. • Rafi sahib passed away 30 years ago (30 July 1980), but his legend lives on as his voice still continues to entertain and amaze millions around the world. No one replace humble, modest and pious Rafi sahib who changed Indian film playback and music industry forever. He is a book on how to sing. His playback voice changed the fate of many Indian film actors and made them superstars of their time. I feel honoured to have met him, be his family's neighbour in London-UK. RIP Mohammed Rafi.

  • @spsyed Because som far none has come to anywhere near his magical voice - quality of voice, abilty to sing, range, pronunciation, emotions or anything else! Nor anyone would... any imitators sound so stupid nowhere near, that is why Rafi is immortal and will remain always....!

  • @rk10101 , many viewers would agree with your comments about this rare ever green gem by Rafi uncle. Only immortal voice of Rafi did complete justice to the meaningful, though-provoking, romantic, happy and sad lyrics created by Majrooh Sultanpuri, Sahir Ludhiyanvi, Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, Gulzar, and only a handfull of other top lyricists. The rare writers all gone but their legacy lives on forever. Thank you for taking to time to write and share your comments. Enjoy, share far and wide.
