you should store it in the fridge. after being durable, it wears out, which means its time to buy a new one.

You left it in the box for so long that it got humid in there and started to melt. Your not meant to leave it out either. You should take it out into the air every week and keep it somewhere cool so that it doesn't melt. But put it back in as well!
