This movie was definitely part of my childhood.
i really hoped that the whole shrek series would end beautifully, but the producers morphed it into the exact opposite of what the first 2 films were. Good story telling. Closest magical thing next to harry potter.

Shrek = amazing
Shrek 2 = Just as great as the first one, some even think it's better. I personally love the 1st and 2nd one equally.
3rd = Death of the franchise
4th = Didn't bother.
