  • I bet Darin.D is pist! lol

  • i would pay to see a v8 do flat 8s with a H pattern gearbox which is stock lol pro street v8s that run 8 second passes are backed by glides or manualised autos with full tubs/slicks with a motor big enough to power a waste station and weigh close to 900 kg or less and here you have a toyota supra that would have been worth 12 grand weighs in around 1500 kg or more witha 3L inline six/ slicks a motor build that would be worth close to half of what a 8 second v8 engine costs to build

  • Cop: In pursuit of a pilot that he flyies his jet too low

  • @Bischlarbo69 "plus, you cant tell me that the turbo on that engine is going to make up for an entire 2.5 litre advantage the mustang has over it."

Thank you for finally proving me right. End of discussion.

  • @SunDownPoint and you cant even argue about the forced aspiration because you brought that specific engine into the argument. plus, you cant tell me that the turbo on that engine is going to make up for an entire 2.5 litre advantage the mustang has over it.

  • @SunDownPoint kid you just proved my point? are you seriously low on iq points? i mean if you make a valid and true point i will be the first to applaud you. you're bringing price into it when you just made a prime example in my favor. the sti has a 2.5 litre engine making 300 hp and the mustang has an engine TWICE THE SIZE with only 100hp more. duh dur. end of story. and i'm not a jap lover, i prefer german and italian cars thank you very much.

  • @Bischlarbo69 Now take a car that you would call "technologically advanced" like the Subaru STI which has 305hp using forced aspiration, and the car sells for 40k with minimal equipment as well. So please explain all this talk about how "Japanese cars offer more power for the size?" It makes no sence, you are just dilusional. It's funny that jap lovers usually don't know anything about any other cars than jap cars, yet true car amateurs like myself can appreciate them all and know about them.

  • @Bischlarbo69 Now you're just talking outta your ass. Each of your statements are always exaggerated or made up, why bother arguing since no one will take you seriously? Here's a little simple example to explain how you are wrong, and that the same uneducated ideas that most Japanese car lovers don't seem to quite understand. Take a car like the 2011 Mustang. About 30k car, that offers a very powerful and torquey 400hp that has actually been dyno tested by many owners to actually have near 450hp

  • @SunDownPoint well no duh if you give it more displacement you get more power. but you act like that's the best way and the only way to do so. it's the american engine builder's philosphy to throw more displacement to it. what i'm trying to get at is that displacement does equal power, but only in an amateur way. more efficient mechanics and a highly tuned engine is far better in terms of power. and i was correct in every one of my statements btw

  • @Bischlarbo69 I'm talking about displacement, and you come with some bullshit logic of Valve and Cam placement. What does displacement have to do with anything you said? Not to mention you have alot to learn on the subject, because you are wrong. Take any engine and give it more displacement, it will be more powerful. If that was not true, all ferraris and lambos would be using 1 litre engines with over 1000hp...

  • @SunDownPoint false, OHV or pushrod engines, like most chevy's and fords, are large engines. however a DOHC can produce the same if not more power on half the litres of big american blocks simply because of the less efficient design OHV's employ. however, it does make for a more reliable engine. all down to preference but displacement is not power. you are sadly wrong my friend.

  • @frostyisag10 It isn't? Please show me a 2 cyl engine that produces 2000hp...
