This Bob Dylan classic: To Make You Feel My Love, was a request for a wedding that I sang this summer. The bride was concerned about some of the lyrics but she really wanted this song for her entrance. My wife Christine rewrote a few of the verses (you'll see these as the orange font) and I think you'll find this new version of the old tune quite 'wedding' appropriate. I play this song capoed 3rd fret.

  • Thanks gr8light.. you're right, I am in Penticton, British Columbia, but I'm not quite sure how you figured that out from this video? If you would like to see a bit more of Penticton, check out my recent song: Song For the Mira by Rusty Stasiuk.. the last verse is all about my fair city. Rusty

  • Your very welcome. I'm finishing up Song of the Mira this week.. maybe check it out as well.

    Rusty

  • I agree.. Dm7 is a nice variation!

  • Thanks Herschey.. I'll make more soon.

  • I blush... I was in a bit of a hurry when I photoshoped the chords and although my fingers and the black dots are all in the right spot for the Fm (133111) and the Em7b5 (010033), I missed replacing the 4 at the bottom of the graphics with a 3. Old age and bad eyesight...rats! I'll put on my reading glasses for the next video.

  • I'm afraid I don't understand... fretkillr? Are you refering to the way I play my chords? Is that a term for singing off key?.... did you intend to type 'fret killer'?

adele's version of this song is better.

    but nice tutorial

  • Very nice Sir....Just a suggestion, try playing Dm7 instead of D7, its much more mellow and fits in well.
