@gokuhawks14 Yea, they do the same crap every time. In the primaries they pander to the base of the party...and then after they win they try to go to the middle. In the process, they will completely change their positions in a matter of months or even weeks. Like you said, it's all just a game. They don't care about the people...and sometimes I agree that the people sort of get what they deserve because they are so easily duped and manipulated by things like slogans and commercials.

You're right...They definitely just tell you what you want to hear. It's all a game. I noticed you were watching that video of Biden, and I checked it out. It was so annoying, because anyone who watched him in the debate with Palin saw that they agreed on gay marriage. But, like you said, they try to wiggle around the issues to get everyone's vote. How can I be against gay marriage and act like I'm sort of for it? ...and the other way around

And..,yea, popular vote doesn't even count. So, when your state is clearly going for the guy you aren't for...your vote literally doesn't count and is essentially worthless. I don't buy the whole it's symbolic of our freedom thing. We want to have a little bit of power and say about what goes on in the government...not just a symbolic gesture which does just about nothing.

@thedefendingchamp Ya, it's too easy to figure out if you vote means anything or not way too early. I really think that in some ways the voters are at fault though for their two faced politicians. Because " the people" are not willing to vote for anyone unless the are fully conservative or fully liberal. So the politicians go fully one way or the other. the politicians that don't do this, and just run on their true beliefs never see the light of day in elections.
