another great song by Vince and the BEST DUET is the female violin player in Vince band, she sings better than Patti and MUCH HIGHER ! check out Look at us...no band just them 2.amazing. She blows Patti away.

Of all the Vince Gill duets that I have listened to so far, this one is far and away my favourite of many masterpiece ballads. These two voices together, in this song, deliver a downright religious experience whose effect just won't quit.

Thanks for replying - I have since gotten a CD with the song on it but I will look for Souvenirs too - Vince Gill has a truly beautiful voice .

I've watched both of these incredibly gifted people through their careers and I'd have to guess they were BOTH at the top of their game in this performance. When Patty comes in with, as Vince says, "that pure eastern Kentucky voice", I just get goosebumps as a backup singer myself. Power and sweetness at the same time. She's a truly gifted giant. Let's be thankful it all happened.
