  • Please, more videos like this!!!

  • @dima767 I'm gonna try.... :-)

  • one question why do you bring the gear up at a positive rate?

  • @TeamLeftmatch777 Ho, apols for late reply, it has to be a positive rate so as to make sure there is no sink back down to the runway. we need to see a positive rate of climb on the barometric altimeter as well as the VSI.

  • Hey Captain, why does the cockpit of the 767-200 and 300 have such an odd layout (eg PFD and Nav Screen directly on top of each other)? I find it very distracting.

  • @bigwhiteflakes Hi, Not sure why the configuration, guess it was the one best suited at the time when they designed the avionics. If the screens were side by side then the other primary instruments would be too far apart. Bear in mind this is a 1970's design and the first of the EADI/EHSI systems.

  • excellent as always! keep 'em coming!

  • My favorite aircraft to fly! Old and simple :) Bummer the 787 is comming up with all of it's TV's in the flightdeck... i wonder if you'd be able to watch Youtube on them. I think they should upgrade the -300ER its cockpit to the cockpit of the -400 and keep the rest like it is.

  • @TheBadameco oh.. thankyou

  • @TheBadameco thanx

  • @boeing757200american no. as you can see at 5:44. in the checklist is " DHL ". DHL 767 uses PW

  • @boeing757200american is this airline is British Airways ( the one I think it is ) are RR

  • Are your engines PW or RR ?

  • @CaptYanknBank Was this a 767 200ER or a 300ER model?

By the way I truly think that this video is the best 767 video on the internet!

  • how long was this flight?

  • @bigwhiteflakes Whats so "odd" about it....??? Thats the way the 'basic six' has been configured/laid out for the past 75 years...only just recently in the past 15 years or so with the switch from the smaller CRT to larger LCD flight displays has the display configuration changed...but keep in mind, the screens might be side-by-side on the newer LCD EFIS, but the HSI is still actually below the ADI, if you look closely...
