My plan was to give these away to my YT friends with cats, but after I finished the recipe I noticed that the storage instructions indicated that they were to be kept in the fridge. Since it takes upwards to two weeks to get packages to certain addresses in the USA from here, I was worried that they might make someone's cat sick. So....please note my heart was in the right place, and here is the recipe.

1 can tuna (packed in water)
1 cup powdered skim milk
Approx. 2 1/2 cups flour
2 beaten eggs
1 cup water
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 or more tbsp of catnip.

Drain tuna and placed in large bowl. Break up tuna pieces until they are very small.
Add 2 cups of the flour and the powdered milk. Blend together.
Mix in eggs, oil, water and catnip.
Mix dough (it will be stiff).
Turn dough out onto a counter top and knead it a few time to make it smooth (add more flour if it is sticky).
Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut dough into very small strips using a knife or pizza cutter. Cut across dough again diagonally to make diamond shapes. Place pieces of dough on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350F until they are brown on the bottom (6-8 minutes, happens fast).

Grind up some catnip between your fingers or palms and sprinkle over completed treats.

The recipe said not to give these to your pet until they are completely cool, DUH!
I will repeat this here just in case... ;)

Store treats in a cool place or in refrigerator.
**note: this make a HUGE pile of kitty treats, nothing wrong with halving the recipe first time you try it**
