@OfficialVGOvideos The idea behind the two cameras is to get the scene being shot in a sliiightly different angle. To see what I mean put your finger in front of your face and look at it with one eye, then the other.. Notice how the finger seems to "move"

Now notice how the objects further away from your finger move "less". It's cuz of this that the whole 3d-effect works.

Short Answer, based on what I said, I think it is essential to have two cameras. I may be wrong though.

QUESTION: At the moment, I'm not in the market for a new Camera. Is it possible, to just take to exact video copies and publish them side by side in, lets say, in an Adobe Video Editing Software, and make a 3D video that way? Or are double Cameras absolutely essential for 3D Filming?

make sure you have the red and blue lense glasses. If you have the black ones from Avatar film it will not work.

are you using the new "real d" glasses you get at the theatre? you can't use those you have to use the older red blue lens ones

I am using glasses with the blue and red gels. And the 3D effect isn't working.
