Describes perfectly(when he sings "that was so many years ago") what happened when my gf at the time left(just before the song came out). Man, was that like a kick in the balls!

Just like Aday's 300lb physical stature, his 1978 hit single, "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" became a 'giant' seller in both "America," and in the U.K., contributing to its successful album, "Bat Out Of Hell" which sold over 40 million copies, and appeared in 2000's "Guiness World Records" as the U.K.'s best selling album ever!

When I was in Middle School, back in 1978 I liked this melody. Now 2009, when I listen to, I get my mind back to those places such as Gym, school rooms, the trips for summer work from Texas to Ohio.We ended in Fostoria Ohio, then back to Texas. I was only 15 Years old....
