This song always makes me cry...I always think of my best friend,Shane, who died 3 years ago. He was like a brother to me,but he died in the hospital after a bad car crash.I cried even harder than his parents,he was the only one who was actually there for me when I was attacked by bullies. I still cry about this to this day...yesterday was the 3 year anniversary since he died.

Why this song was not a major hit when it first came out is beyond me. And why it was not rediscovered and used as a tribute song after the attacks of September 11, 2001 is TOTALLY beyond me. No song would have fit the day and time better than this. Around the 2:30 mark, long before I saw this video, as I would listen to the song I could replay in my mind the second plane hitting the second WTC as people on a nearby street at street level look up in awe and bewilderment.

This song reminds me of the family and friends I have lost, its a tribute to the lives they lived and just how much I miss them daily. As a recent cancer survivor it also has personal meaning...makes me appreciate every day and live life to the fullest. Life is just too short and the ones we love the most are gone before their time. Live life with no regrets and do not forget to let loved ones know how much they are loved often.
