  • Stop Aboriginal Genocide on Stolen Aboriginal Land, Self Determination not Intervention !!!

  • A message to the Australian Government: SHAME ON YOU....YOUR A DISGRACE TO HUMAN RIGHTS AND AN EMBARRESSMENT TO YOUR COUNTRY IF NOT THE WORLD. YOU WHO POINTED THE FINGER AT SOUTH AFRICA TO MAKE THE CHANGES HAVE NEVER MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO CLEAN UP YOUR OWN CRIMES against HUMANITY AND CONTINUE TO CARRY THOSE CRIMES OUT IN FULL VEIW OF THE WORLD. YOU WILL, ONE DAY I KNOW, BE MADE TO FACE THOSE CRIMES IN FRONT OF THAT WORLD. YOUR SHAME, WILL BE YOUR NATIONS TO HARBOUR FOR ALL TIME. SHAME ON YOU.

  • Uneducated redneck, if only you knew the full truth, but thats the trouble with people who don't want to know or give a damn, children are still children, and don't they deserve a right in THIS world too or are you just plain ignorent like the rest, but thats the trouble with our media, only want to show the negative news of my people! Getting a job everywhere else in the world might be easy for WHITE people, oh but you think you know everything! White kids get free education too.

  • Get a job, dont rely on handouts and you can spend your money how you want to.

Welfare is a not a right.

You should be grateful that your children can get free education and you get free health care and houses, and if you want more you have to work hard.

Thats what happends everywhere else in the world.

In 90% of this world if you dont work you die because not all government can afford to give money for people to live.

  • love this

  • Ask the marketing managers from the cigarette companies. And I'm assuming you've been out to a Aboriginal Community, or are you another urban armchair experts? I work for an Indigenous organisation - and do a bloody good job and work hard.

  • star,

your comments do not reflect reality. Over 90 % of Indigenous people smoke cigarettes? you discredit yourself consistantly.

  • peace

  • if they dont want to be westernisation take away the houses the cars the clothing the eduction give them back a shit load of there land so they can live their way and maybe we can lern something from them about land conservation and prevent things like the vic bush fires we can lern from them as they can lern from us lets educate each other and live in peice

  • My friend worked in Gove and she said the same as you that the kids mainly eat chips and soft drinks. The kids are so beautiful it's a frustrating situation and education helps. Do any of the communties have good services out there?

  • Then why don't you set the example and put your words into actions. Next time you see some homeless Indigenous people - invite them into your home and provide food and shelter for a period of time.

  • They are not forced to drive around in Toyatas or buy food at the local shop. They do so because it is easier to spend your dole money at the shop than chase a wallaby around all day. If the kids went to school, which most of them don't, they could choose and determine how and when they wanted "westernisation" and do it on their terms. Until this happens they will always be controlled rather than in control.
