The VOC Soul Gospel Choir singing Kumbaya at the Vancouver Folk Festival 2009.

VOC stands for Vancouver Outreach Community Choir under the direction of Checo Tohomaso.

Checo was honoured to play keyboards, percussion and sing background vocals for the last European tour of Motown legend, Marvin Gaye. As a keyboard player and background vocalist for the Green Machine, the band providing the sound for The Commodores and Lionel Ritchie, he continued to tour the world extensively until Expo '86 brought Checo to Vancouver. We are very blessed to have him.

The video/audio is a little out of sync as this was shot with an ordinary Cannon digital still camera but youll still enjoy it Im sure.

(Thats me, Allan Hunkin, singing baritone in the back row, who you will never see, unless these venues start giving us stage risers.)
