I have a strat like guitar but it too has a humbucker in the bridge. To be honest, I don't think Blackstar cleans are that awesome. Decent, but not amazing. I tried Blackstar with Metal Muff, didn't like it. But with boost, e.g., Boss SD-1, it sounds great. Not sure how well it works with distortion pedals in general.

Do you have a strat to show some clean and overdrive tones?;) .. I tested the combo yesterday (very shortly), but the stock speaker seemed to lack some bottom end. I'm still unsure if it is what I'm looking for. I want something that has a great clean-clean and can accept my Damage Control distortion pedals/preamp very well to use them on my cab (have a 2x12 cab with V30's but no head to use it). What do you think?

Very nice. I've ordered a RV600 too, how did you hook it up ? In front or through the HT5's loop ? Unfortunately I have no loop in my ac4tv so I am stuck at the front.

I had it in the loop, I think it works better like that with distorted sounds. With cleans it's not that much of a deal.
