Off with Her Head, Alice

Shelli's digital illustration of Alice was printed onto fabric paper, then stitched to a backing fabric and edged with ric-rac. This "quilt" was then covered in clear vinyl and permanently attached to create an upholstered cushion for the chair. The design abounds with Wonderland details: playing cards, "A" for Alice, gold finials. Shelli tops off her creation with a one-of-a-kind white rabbit.
