I am happy to be able to walk, and chew gum, at the same time. It amazes me that Paul (and perhaps yourself) can play that bassline and sing the song at the same time.

@wclaurence Thanks..i manage stuff like All My Loving at the Cavern week in week out, but watching Paul do this live is clever stuff indeed. There are a lot of basslines in rock n roll and 60's rock/pop that are easyish to play and sing once you get the knack, but a lot of modern bass is really clever stuff. Macca was a melodic bass genius on Sgt. Pepper especially. PS chewing gum AND walking is no mean feat ! Regards, Martin and thanks for watching.

Thankyou. Its actually some hybrid i got off ebay from Florida! The neck and headstock ,bridge,scratchplate and control panel are genuine,not sure bout the conrtol knobs,and the body could be anything from the early 70's!! But its nice,and being a leftie and in the resident band at The Cavern Club,it does me. One day i'll be able to afford a genuine vintage model.

Or maybe not!!
