Once again bored in home... I got thrown into lockpicking one day and decided to try it. Because I don't have propper tools in hand, I improvised.

    He's from Finland :P

  • I am sorry I can't be as smart as you Swedish people.

The only gun control I believe in is being able to properly handle and shoot a gun.

If you like gun control, why don't you move to England where they passed a ban on all guns in 1995. Sure, gun crimes went up 400%, but don't let that stop you.

  • If private schools didn't give good results, they wouldn't be in business, right?

Lets say you went to a burger shop. If they sucked, more than likely you're not going to go back there, right? The thing with a free market is the best succeed so the people always get the best. With the Government they can suck all day long and you don't have a choice to go somewhere else.

If private schools really sucked they wouldn't be in business. Private schools are funded by the people going there.

  • Private school pick their students, and some have been caught upgrading the results ... that's why at the end of high school a lot of private school student end in public school because the provate school don't consider their grade enough and they can't milk their money anymore ...

there is this Idea that private do better than public why is not always true ...

Private bathroom, Public school, that is my choice. If they really want private school, let them fund it on their own and tax it.

  • I still think gun control is a good thing, and it mostly prevent buying gun on an impulsive tought ... you can still own a gun ... I won't change my mind on this one ... And Canada is not WW2 germany, no way :p

  • If you know history so well you should take a look back on countries who put their control in the hands of government. I will list them off for you:

    WW1- today Russia

    WW1-WW2 Germany

    China

    North Korea

    Iraq

    Cuba

Just to name a few. Remember, most of these contries started out like Canada or England with socialized medicine and gun control. Giving the Government control is never a good thing. Every other country can try out what we have know for 100's of years, but I will stick with freedom.

  • Those "money pigs" as you call them seem to be doing a better job running schools than the public sector. Compare any public school to a private school and you can see the difference in education. Private schools are better because they are trying to be the best to get money.

Public schools have absolutely no competition. If you teach the students nothing or everything, you get the same about of money.

    Which would you choose?

    Public bathroom - Private bathroom

    Public school - private school

  • I agree mostly with you. Just that a 15-year-old child can get a gun with approval of his or her parrents (and the usual "correct purpose stuff") in Finland. I think that this is a good way to ensure future gun ownership. Sooner you can start the hobby, the better.

I personally don't worry about my government. Just that they're making the gun hobby more harder day by day, just because majority is afraid. I think that that's caused by lack of knowing. Remaining character count is a bitch

  • I know U.S. History and if the U.S governement was to take weapon against it's citizen, he could wipe them in under one minue, guns or no guns ...

And I don't think a money pig should run something as important as school ... And I wouldn't like to see more illed people in random fights, just for the sake of freedom.

Besides, weapon control only makes sure the one with guns are over 18, trained, and no criminal case, and we know which weapon they have. Guns are not completely forbidden.

  • Why do you need to Government to control everything? If you think I am going to let some elected official tell me how to run my life, think again. Our founders left England to escape an out of control Government. The only thing that protected them and granted us freedom was guns. I guess we should of let our Government at the time, Great Brittan, control our guns, right?

Personally, I don't think the Government should be running schools. I have no problem with students defending themselves.
