Growing up, I was the youngest of seven raised on a schoolteacher's salary.

And, I worked my way through college waxing floors at the Space Needle.

That's why I can't stand what's going on in the U.S. Senate.

They're wasting money.

On programs that aren't creating jobs or helping the economy.

And running up debt that's threatening our future.

That goes against everything I believe.

@URUROTRASH I agree with you there to. I wonder how much longer we plan to use this current system of ours. Eventually, we are going to have to move in another direction as a society. We can't do it like this forever.

@handyandyradio I agree that our system is outdated and that Its going to take alot to change it. Each side will claim the other is all about money and for the rich; when they really all are. Maybe not in the beginning; but after a while DC corrupts. I voted for Murray originally; now I can't. I follow the WA Post campaign tracker and it shows how much each candidate has spent; and their party on each race. Its disgusting. Its all about getting re elected and going back to the trough

@URUROTRASH And as for the Venus Project, it is going to sound very radical at first, but once you research it more and see more of it's case, it starts to make a lot of sense. It will only seem radical because it is so different from what most of us know. All I know is that neither democrats, republicans, socialists, libertarians, or any of the political parties will take us there. When it comes right down to it, they all stand for one thing--the monetary system.

@URUROTRASH Money is the root of all corruption. Some people are just stronger than others to resist resorting to corruption. Obviously we all need it, but some people make it such a priority, that they lose their dignity and their humanity and get so greedy. That's what happens to a lot of politicians at some point.

I don't think that the problems today are caused by Democrats or Republicans. Our world's out-dated monetary based economy is the problem. This means Socialism AND Capitalism are both equally out-dated. I admit, I am a Murray supporter, but I do realize that she is only part of the out-dated system we are, for some reason, still using. Please research "The Venus Project" and spend a great deal of time with that research, and you'll understand what I mean. Thank you all. Have a nice day.

@handyandyradio You have to vote you gut feeling and no one can tell you any different although many will try; I wont. I respect your right to feel the way you do and its your vote. You dont think Rossi is what he says he is, for me I know Murray is talking out of the side of her mouth. She has just lied and hedged on to many issues. She's become a politician and its time to go. I believe in term limits exactly for this reason. She's spent 16million on re-election, where did it come from? Peace
